Hollowroot Trail

Hollowroot Trail is quiet in a way most mobile games aren't. You explore a hand-drawn forest, poke at things, and gradually uncover what happened to the people who lived there. There's no combat — the challenge is observation and gentle puzzle-solving.

The atmosphere is the whole experience. Ambient sound, sparse dialogue, and environments that reward you for slowing down. I found myself just sitting in certain screens listening to the wind.

If you want action, look elsewhere. If you want something moody to play before bed, this is a rare little gem.
