How to grind in an RPG without burning out
There's a point in most RPGs where the story pauses and the game politely asks you to grind. Done wrong, this is where people quit. Done right, it can be the most relaxing part of the game.
My rule is to grind with a goal, not a number. 'I want this specific skill unlocked' beats 'I'll farm until I'm bored.' The first has an end; the second never does.
Mix up what you're doing. If a game has daily events, side quests, and open-world farming, rotate between them. Variety keeps the same activity from feeling like a chore.
Podcast in one ear helps more than you'd think. A lot of grinding is low-attention busywork, and pairing it with something else makes the time vanish.
And be honest with yourself — if you're grinding out of obligation rather than enjoyment, put the game down. It'll still be there tomorrow, and so will your levels.
